Dual seal, SIL 2 certified, rugged, stainless steel switch for harsh environments
The 12 Series offers process end-users and OEMs, safety and control reliability in a rugged, compact design for alarm and emergency shutdown applications. It is certified to the requirements of ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 and NFPA 70 that stress the importance of properly sealing electrical equipment to prevent process media from entering the electrical conduit system – no additional components or labor required. SIL 2 certification simplifies use in safety instrumented systems (SIS).
Typical applications that utilize the 12 Series include offshore production safety panels, rotating equipment, fire suppression systems, BOP accumulator systems, and CO2 injection skids.
